Dear Friends of the Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County,

Wishing you and your family a Memorial Weekend filled with goodwill and honor for those have served to protect our country and our personal freedom.

We are thankful for everyone in our community who works, volunteers and  mentors to coach and guide young lives to their reach their full potential! Thank you to our local American Legion Post 103 for protecting country and leading our community in giving back for local youth. Thank you to the Federation of Eagles Aerie 3988 for your generous support of our kids!

Congratulations to Daphne Coffey for earning state finalist recognition in the Indiana Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year program!  Thank you to our Youth of the Year program sponsors, Wards Apparel, Showtime Cinema, O’Charley’s Restaurant, Networking Business Women, and Mooresville Kiwanis.

With the Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County YOU are creating a safe place for all youth, ages 6 to 18 years old,  to grow and become. You provide hope and opportunity everyday for the Club kids! Because of you, your thoughtfulness, and kindness, all youth can be a Club Member for just $20 per year and benefit from Club programs and services when school is out. The actual cost of a Club membership is approximately $700 per child, per year. Your giving of time, expertise, and financial resource fills the gap and allows us to reach more kids, especially those who need us most! Thank you!

11 million youth will be out of school this Summer, without supervision, and without a safe place to find encouragement, develop soft skills, and to become the people whom they are intended to be. You are the difference for our local youth this Summer. The Club is open from 7:30am to 6pm Monday through Friday! You make this possible!  Our kids will be mentored in Summer reading by volunteers twice each week and we will grow our garden with the Morgan County Master Gardeners. Thank you volunteers!

We will learn Karate from the Mooresville Martial Arts Academy and visit the library, Pioneer Park, and Showtime Cinema every week.  Our kids will participate in the Boys & Girls Club Triple Play health & wellness program sponsored by the Kendrick Foundation and supported by Franciscan Health Community Health Improvement!

Additional Summer weekly activities include arts, community service, sports, bike rides, prevention & guidance classes, and STEM programming!  Thank you for having a hand in the lives of Boys & Girls Club members and providing experiences, coaching, and mentoring that will last a lifetime!

Thank you to volunteers who are leading our Great Futures Annual Campaign.

Mike Bridgewater, BJ Pendill, Kim Harmon, Vicki Nowak, Randy Taylor, Robbi Lollar, Kevin Lollar, Rebecca Williams, Rachel Reecer, Lois Burgner, Perry Wood, Angie Kath, Amber Welsh, Ryan Taylor, and Dave Bradford for volunteering with our Campaign and connecting with our donors! Our goal is to raise $67,000 to sustain Club programs and services.  Thank you to our donors who make the Boys & Girls Club experience a reality for the youth who need us most!
