Wishing you many blessing this Holiday and in the New Year! You cannot be thanked enough for the caring and belief that is in your hearts.

Selflessly giving your gifts of time, talent, and treasure to benefit local youth with the Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County is making a difference! You give young people programs, guidance, and training from caring adult mentors who inspire and empower youth to reach their full potential to become the citizens whom they are intended to be. Thank you for such a remarkable gift for lives of our kids, families, and community!

The Wests are a Boys & Girls Club Family. In 2017, the Wests were recognized with the Club Family of the Year Award for their service and support. Their children have been Club Members for many years. Currently, Amanda serves the Club as a volunteer Arts Administrator. Amanda’s vision and leadership produced the Our Story of Christmas Family & Child banner pictured in this newsletter. The banner was shared with Life Pointe Church for their first ever Christmas Art Exhibit. Amanda, her husband Andy, and their son Broden volunteer every year with our Celebrity Golf Outing. Andy is also a volunteer with our Club Riders Summer Bicycling program. Last week, the Club held its fundraising raffle drawing and Andy’s name was drawn for the cash pride. Andy donated 50% of his winnings back to the Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County! Thank you to the Wests for leading our mission!

Giving and philanthropy are high holiday priorities for many. Your giving empowered our Holiday Campaign to achieve $15,951 in donations! Congratulations to you! What a phenomenal way wrap-up love and give it to the kids who need us most in Morgan County!

Many caring partnerships and initiatives created fun memories and giving opportunities! Thank you to you for leading our mission through these amazing holiday experiences!

The Kendrick Foundation makes a difference in the lives of Morgan County youth daily, in a fantastic partnership with the Boys & Girls Club.

The Kendrick Foundation awarded a second year of grant funding to the BGCMC for our Triple Play program. 3Play is a national BGC curriculum focusing on the development of wellness and healthful habits for young peoples’ minds, bodies, and emotions. Support from the Kendrick Foundation reached 220 youth over the past 12 months and has already reached 128 youth in this cycle. Over 430 wellness classes have been participated in by youth over the past 13 months! Staff from Franciscan Health volunteer with the Boys & Girls Club and bring enriching activities to 3Play such as yoga and teambuilding! Congratulations to the Kendrick Foundation on doing such good work and thank you for a fantastic partnership!

To all of our donors, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and friends new & old, thank you for a truly wonderful year for Morgan County youth with the Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County! You are appreciated more than you may know. We wish you and your family holidays filled with joy and meaning! Let’s get together in celebration and partnership to help young people in 2020!
